Willie Green ’80 Passes

Green, William E. III, 55, of Walton passed away February 3, 2018.  Willie was a co-owner of Complete Auto Care.  He is preceded by his Father; William “Bill” Green, Jr., Brother; Brian Green.  Willie is Survived by his Wife; Paige Green, Son; William Green IV, Daughters; Samantha Piccirillo, Jessica Green, Mother; Frances Green, Brother; Brandon Green, Sisters; Connie Overbay, Tonya Knight, Angie Green, Granddaughter; Harper Piccirillo.  Visitation will be Friday February 9, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00pm with Funeral Service following at 1:00pm at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Home, Elsmere.  Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger..In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Willie’s name at www.ldsphilanthropies.org. Terri Perkins Adams ’85 Remarries

Terri Perkins Adams, Class of 1985 and Alumni Association President, married Tim Price from the Class of 1984 on New Years Eve at the upstairs chapel of The Leaping Lizard, a Covington church which has been converted as a gathering hall for social events as well.   The reception was enjoyed right after at the same site.  The couple took a few days in St. Petersburg, Florida as a mini-honeymoon.  There will no doubt be lots of other trips.   Best Wishes from the alumni association.

Molly Plageman Mason Passes

Molly Plageman Mason, age 48, of Latonia, KY passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was a hairstylist at Cloud 9 Salon and Spa and member of St. Anthony Parish.   She was a 1987 graduate of Scott High School.

1992 Class Reunion Date set for May 19, 2017

Class of 1992 has their reunion planned for Friday. Class of 1981 Reunion

Class of 1981 will be holding a reunion on the evening of October 29th at the house in Pride Park on Taylor Mill Rd. The event will be from 7:00 pm till 11:00 pm and is $10 per person. Please bring your own beverages (Ice Tea, soda, beer, wine etc..) and please bring a cooler to keep it cold as refrigerator space is limited. If you would like to bring snacks, that too is welcome, as no food is included in the ticket price.





RIP John Slavens ’81

To all those in Band and Scott’s first few classes,  there is sad news. John Slavens Jr. lost his battle with cancer. He passed peacefully surrounded by family and close friends. He fought so very hard and for so long but, God decided it was time to call him home.  Please keep the family,  especially his parents, in your prayers. Services will be held on Tuesday June 7th at First Baptist Church Of Anderson Hills. Visitation will be held from 10:30 until 12:00 with services following. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. We are all saddened by his passing and send our condolences to his wife and family.

Joe Kremer ’84 Passes

Joe Kremer, 50, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015. He was a Welder/Pipefitter with Union Local #392, a member of St. Patrick Church in Taylor Mill, KY and he enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He was preceded in death by his Father: Gene Kremer and Brother: James “Bo” Kremer. Joe is survived by his Mother: Jane Kremer; Sister: Cheryl “Sug” (Pat) Haney; Brother: Gene (Joni) Kremer; Niece: Amanda Fogt and Nephews: Jason Haney, Bo Haney and Carson Fogt. Dale Norman ’80 Passes

November 20, 1962 – May 10, 2015

Dale Lee Norman, age 52, of Independence, KY, passed away Sunday, May 10 at his residence. Dale enjoyed biking, fishing, and traveling. His father, Albert Norman preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Michele; sons, Ryan-Lee (Molly) and Timothy (Katie); step-son Billy Stoy; mother, Marcia; sister, Barrie Lynne (Erich); grandchild, Charlotte Norman and two grandchildren on the way.

Visitation will be Friday, May 15 from 4:30p to 7:30p at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 16 at 10:00a at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 11969 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Internment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger, KY

Benjamin R. Kron, 39, of Covington, KY passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at his home. He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Taylor Mill, KY. Ben took pride in working as a Traffic Signal Technician with the KYTC. He graduated from Scott High School in 1994 where his drive led him to be one of the best goalkeepers in the history of Scott High Soccer. Ben was known for his cheery, postive attitude. His sense of humor and charisma was felt by all that knew him. He was very passionate about all sports, more notably his beloved undefeated Kentucky Wildcats. Ben is survived by his Parents: Rick and Terri Kron; Sister: Sarah Kron; Brothers: Brandon (April) Kron and their son Henry, Evan Garret Kron and he was the loving and dedicated Caregiver of Hannah Mersfelder. Visitation will be on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Connley Brothers Fuenral Home in Latonia, KY. Collin Klaene Celebrates

Collin Klaene, who graduated from Scott  in 1998, met her future husband, Harold Soper,  in New York. They got married Sept. 7, 2014 in Frederick, Maryland by enjoying an outdoor ceremony. The  honeymoon was in warm and sunny Cozumel. As Collin says, “It’s been so much fun!”
