1982 Reunion Set For September 2022

Class of 1982 will be reuniting to celebrate their 40th graduation anniversary on September 17th at the house in Pride Park on Taylor Mill Rd. The party will be from 6:30 to 11:30 pm.  Tickets to the event are $35.00 if purchased before July 15th, $40.00 if purchased after. Feel free to bring your own beverages, alchoholic or not and a cooler to keep them cold.  Food will be catered Bailey Jaynes Cafe & Bakery owned by ’82 Graduate Jayne O’Ryan Napier. We also have a block of tickets with a roped off area in the bleachers for the homecoming game on Friday the 16th available at a discounted rate of $3.00. Kirk Bachman Passes

Kirk Bachman, Class of 1982, died on Thursday, March 17.  There was a celebration of his life, March 16th at Pride Park.  Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.  He was a great guy.

Coach Carl Wenderoth and his wife, Dina pass.

C.R. “Coach” Wenderoth of Dry Ridge, KY who led the Scott Eagles to their only 9th Regional Boys Basketball Crown was born August 21, 1934 in Dayton, KY and died Sunday March 6, 2022 in Florence, KY at the age of 87.  He had taught, coached, and administered in several educational positions. He was followed in death by his wife, Dina.  They were a team in life and now are a team in the Great Beyond.  Our sincere condolences to Niki (his daughter), family, and friends.

Teri-Adkins Kessler ’88

Teri-Adkins Kessler ’88 died on February 24, 2022.  We are saddened by her passing and offer heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.

Tim Price – created and continually strives with the Luke Mueller Foundation to raise thousands of dollars to assistant those fighting cancer.

Adam Collinsworth – thorough the Collinsworth Foundation drives  fundraising to provide relief to those confronting spinal cord injuries.

Todd Moody – Reformed and reorganized Scott’s Band and Music Program, formed strong relationships with students

Linda Pennington-steered Science Dept.  Mentored/ coached Chemistry for all including other teachers in state, formed life long mentorships with alumni.

 

Ronald “Jonathan” Block ’99

So sad to report his passing on February 6, 2022.  He was gone far too soon.  Our heartfelt sympathies to friends and family.
