Seth Cooper ’15 Ties the Knot

SethOlivia-320

Seth is a 2015 Scott High School Alum; he was president of his class and homecoming king his senior year. Olivia attended Ryle High School and graduated in 2016. She cheered there for all 4 years and was a captain of the team her senior year. Seth & Olivia both attened Northern Kentucky University after graduating high school where Seth pursued an undergrad degree in video marketing and Olivia received her undergrad degree in exercise science. Seth now works as the Director of Marketing at Newman Tractor and Olivia is starting her masters degree at Xavier University in the fall to become an Occupational Therapist.

Seth & Olivia have been preparing to be married since they got engaged last May and couldn’t wait to start our lives together! They set the date for June 6th. When they first started wedding planning, their #1 thing was that they wanted to be able to invite everyone that they loved and that has been a part of their life and story over the years. When coronavirus lockdown happened, it felt like the thing they cared about the most is what was getting taken away. Their 300 person guest list was a bit over the CDC suggested guidlines. There were so many tough decisions when they finally faced the fact that June 6th wasn’t going to be what was planned so Seth and Olivia decided, “ Life is short and we want to start our lives together. Let’s just get married!” It truly brought back the vision of what is important in marriage. Getting to start their family and spend the rest of their lives together. Isn’t that what marriage is all about? Going through the bumps in the road together and making the best of it? So they thought, why let coronavirus stop us from getting married! So on June 6, 2020 they got married at Seth’s family farm in Versailles, Kentucky. It was simple, beautiful, intimate and so special. Olivia’s dad had the honor of getting to marry them, which made it even more special. Their small 15 person wedding will be something they never forget (even if it wasn’t what they planned)!

Just as importantly,  they WILL have a big ceremony and reception in Sept. at the beautiful Misty Maple Gardens with all of their family and friends to do it all again and celebrate together when it is safer for everyone! Even better…..for two people who love people and love to celebrate…they’re doing it twice!!!!!

Seth intimated, “We love everyone who has been a part of our story. Thank you for loving us, for supporting us, and being a part of our life!
Here’s to a new chapter of being married!
Love, the Coopers ”

“Also, shoutout to the best photographer ever Samuel Greenhill! He is the best and we are so thankful!”

Seth & Olivia were fortunate enough to be able to spend a week away on their honeymoon in St. Petersburg, Florida at the beautiful Don Cesar hotel. They spend every day sitting in the sun at the beach or by the pool while enjoying good eats and exploring the Tampa Bay area every night!

angelawedding
Angela Balderidge, Class of 2000, married  Justin Cornelison on October 14,  2017.  They were married and had the reception at her parents farm.  Because they have a new baby, they aren’t really honeymooing.  No doubt there will be trips later.  They decided to combine their two last names to produce a new one.  So they are now the Balcor family.
